Dance Hall Days es uno de los hits más representativos de la banda inglesa de New Wave, conocida como Wang Chung, en la década de los 80’s. Sus integrantes originales, Nick Feldman, Jack Hues y Darren Costing se encargaron de componer e interpretar esta melodía, siendo el único sencillo de la banda que llegó al top 40 en el Reino Unido, mientras que en Estados Unidos se posicionó en el lugar número 16 en el Billboard Hot 100 y alcanzó el primer puesto en la lista Dance Club Songs.

Videos musicales

La canción cuenta con dos videos musicales diferentes que se usaron para la presentación mundial del sencillo. La primera versión, según se indica, está elaborada con una colección de películas caseras y un espectáculo de nadadores y fuentes y cuenta con escenas de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, además de la aparición del propio director, cuando era niño, en una de esas películas caseras.

El segundo video, mismo que te presentamos en esta publicación, es un video conceptual de fantasía mágica ambientado en la década de 1940, presentando una transición de escenas en blanco y Negro a Color en la que aparece la banda tocando en la sala repleta con el respaldo de una big band mientras en la pista de baile se ven parejas disfrutando de la música.
